RailsMetro is an independent website that explains Metro travel in Maharashtra in simple language. We want everyday commuters, students and visitors to find routes, Maps and approximate fares quickly.
What we do
- Station lists and line diagrams for Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur and Navi Mumbai Metro, with Marathi names alongside the English ones.
- Interactive Maps based on OpenStreetMap and a route finder that handles line changes.
- Calculators for ticket cost, travel time, monthly commute cost and more.
Where our information comes from
The geographic position of lines and stations comes from OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL licence). We check names and order and correct them. Timetables are shown only when an official source exists, with the source linked; for lines where we could not find one, we say so instead of guessing. Fares and travel times are approximations. For official information, visit the websites of the operators such as MMRDA, MMMOCL, MMRCL, MahaMetro and CIDCO.
