Metro Route Finder

Pick a city, a start station and an end station. The tool shows the route with the fewest changes, the number of stops, approximate time and fare, and draws only that route on the Map.

How it works

Every station is a point on a graph. Moving to the next station costs 1 and changing trains costs 4, so routes with fewer changes are preferred. Stations of two lines within 350 metres are treated as a change station. Time = about 2.5 minutes per stop + about 7 minutes per change. Fare is estimated from the straight-line distance along the route and the city’s approximate fare bands.

All figures are approximate. Check the operator for the official timetable, fare and service alerts.
